A number of women use their charm and cleverness in helping the French in the drama of history during World War II. Louise (Sophie Marceau), a beautiful woman recruited into the French underground by her brother Pierre (Julien Boisselier), when the Nazi troops occupying their country. Maurice Buckmaster (Colin David Reese) is a British agent who smuggled Louise into London to give it a special duty to be a British scientist who conducts research and weapons captured by Axis forces and detained in a French hospital. Louise ordered to assemble a team of female fighters to find the scientist and smuggle him to safety before it can be forced to tell Nazi intelligence what he knows. The team consists of Louise Gaelle (Deborah Francois), Jeanne (Julie Depardieu), more selfish than the future of France, Suzy (Marie Gillain), a nightclub entertainer who falls in love with German soldiers; and maria Luzzato (Maya Sansa), a Jew who helps women who want to return to France.
